Privacy notice

Who we are

This website is operated by Winnie Jayne LLC, a Missouri business that works with U.S.-based clients. For any privacy question or request, email privacy@winniejayne.com.

What the inquiry form collects

The inquiry form asks for a preferred name, email address, state of residence, whether your business is U.S.-based, your main need, your bookkeeping software, roughly how far behind your books are, your desired timing, and optional answers about past-year returns or balances, whether you expect to owe for the current year, and an approximate annual income range, plus an optional short description. The optional questions ask for yes, no, or a range, never exact amounts. It does not accept file uploads and does not ask for your legal name, creator handle, or profile links.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, tax documents, bank details, passwords, or other sensitive information through the form.

How the information is used

We use what you submit to reply to your inquiry, decide together whether our services are a good fit, and prepare for a first conversation. That’s all.

We do not sell or rent your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing or newsletter list. We share it only with the service providers listed below, who handle it so this website and the form can work, or if the law requires us to.

Where the information goes

When you submit the form, your answers are sent to Formspree, a form-processing service, which delivers them to us by email. Inquiries arrive in an email account hosted by Google. If you email privacy@winniejayne.com, your message is handled through Microsoft.

This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy, linked above.

How long it is kept

Formspree automatically deletes its copy of each submission after 30 days.

If you don’t become a client, we delete your inquiry from our email 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, your information is then kept as described in your engagement letter and as required by the record-keeping rules that apply to tax professionals.

You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner at any time (see “Your choices” below).

Cookies, analytics, and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts. It loads no fonts, scripts, or images from other companies.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you sent through the inquiry form. Email privacy@winniejayne.com with your request and the email address you used on the form. We’ll reply to confirm once it’s done. We offer these choices to everyone, no matter which state you live in.

Client information after engagement

If you become a client, information you share after signing an engagement letter is handled as that letter describes and under the professional rules that apply to tax practitioners. You’ll receive a separate privacy notice for clients at that time.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
